In the center of the Kingdom of Qatash, a smooth, all-white tower stretches beyond the clouds, its silhouette haunting the kingdom’s citizens. Overtime, the mystery of the tower transformed from an enticing whisper that attracted talented adventurers to its doors into a terrible secret that seems to have driven Sovereign Idrith mad. In seven hundred years, not a single soul has exited the tower’s doors, but that does not dissuade the Sovereign from proudly condemning her own citizens to their doom, insistent that her newest group of ‘volunteers’ will surely be the ones to conquer the tower.

Except, nothing could prepare this newest group of travelers for what they encounter inside. Every level of this tower transports them to a new dimension, one where they have to fight through lies and enemies just to find their way to the next threat that awaits them. As the weight of a never-ending battle weighs on the travelers’ shoulders, the gods watch with delight from afar.

See, the tower is no dungeon created for adventurers to test their mettle. It is a hellish creation made by the Watchers, creatures that embody time itself, to entertain immortals during their tedious stretch of forever. Though, the Watchers merely call their prison a ‘game show,’ and they are eager to see if this particular band of travelers will be the ones to win.

Player Characters

Corilith “Cori” Demar

Human Fighter | Kingdom of Qatash

Corilith “Cori” Demar looks like she wouldn’t know much. Her shining green eyes and her mess of freckles give her a childish look that she wishes she could outgrow. Yet, as soon as she opens her mouth, any expectation that she might be easy to deal with disappears. Between her arrogance and her intelligence, Corilith puts her worst foot forward at nearly all times. She is quite lucky she is a prodigy. Otherwise, she’d be dead by now.

Ara Pinebrew

Half-elf Sorcerer | Faewilds

Ara Pinebrew is nothing short of a force of chaos. She has long since given up on taming her wild mess of hair, preferring to explore unknown wonders than deal with tedious chores like that. In a place as treacherous as the tower, her naivety oft lands her in dire straits. Yet, her undeniable charm and fey-like wit protect her in a place that would normally eat her alive.

Nova

Drow Rogue | Eskan Empire

Nova is unremarkable, but that is not to say she is insignificant. By design, she fades into the background, out of sight and out of mind — an impressive feat given her massive hat. A lethal powerhouse, Nova prefers to handle her conflicts delicately and alone, but as she travels through the tower, she gladly capitalizes on the advantages her teammates bring to a battlefield.

She might have also grown attached to the chaotic group. She’s still deciding if she’s willing to admit that.

Mara Burke

Human Fighter | Kingdom of Qatash

Lieutenant Mara Burke describes herself as a simple woman. She loves her wife, protects her kingdom, and makes a mean camp hash. She leaves out the details everyone else would list first. She towers over even the tallest men, standing well over six feet. Her uniform always fits her Herculean build too snugly. Scars decorate her arms and face from wars she has fought in the name of Sovereign Idrith. As much as she hates to admit it, she was practically built for this tower.

Akashi Mulano

Elven Druid | The Tower

Dirt sticks to Akashi Mulano like a second skin, no matter how clean she may be. Her solemn stature obscures the mischief that gleams behind her eyes. Looking at her, one would rightfully assume her stalwart morals and miss her love for trickery. It makes her an interesting druid and an even more fascinating traveler. After all, she never should have been able to leave her level.
